The Sycamore Studio
Just outside my studio stands a tall sycamore tree—a steady, quiet presence that offers shade and calm. Across different cultures, the sycamore has long been a symbol of protection, healing, and growth. For me, it’s a simple reminder that change often begins with slowing down and letting go.
My studio is tucked into the corner of Cobblestone Walk, a courtyard in the centre of Steyning village. It’s a peaceful spot—sometimes lively, sometimes still—where you can take a moment to pause.
This is a space to come back to yourself. To feel supported. To reconnect with your body in a way that’s gentle and grounding.
Under the sycamore, things begin to soften. And in that quiet, balance starts to return.
