The Sycamore and me
I was drawn to Steyning because of how close it feels to nature—the winding footpaths, big open skies, and the quiet beauty of the South Downs. There’s something about this place that invites you to slow down, breathe, and take a moment—and that’s what I aim to offer through my work.
My path into massage therapy has been a gradual one, shaped by a strong belief in the body’s natural ability to heal when it’s given time, space, and the right kind of care. Over the years, I’ve trained in a range of techniques—deep tissue massage, therapeutic bodywork, and reflexology—all of which have helped me understand the many ways touch can support both physical and emotional wellbeing.
What I offer isn’t just a treatment—it’s a space where you can feel grounded, listened to, and at ease in your body. I bring presence and care to each session, adapting what I do to suit how you’re feeling on the day.
Working beside the sycamore tree is a daily reminder of what matters to me in this work: strength, renewal, and a gentle, steady kind of change. I’m glad to be able to share this space with others and offer massage that’s rooted in care—and in nature.
I’ve been practising reflexology for nearly 10 years and hold a Level 3 Diploma. In 2023, I qualified as a massage therapist with two Level 3 Diplomas—one in Therapeutic Full Body Massage, and the other in Sports and Deep Tissue Massage.
I’m a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) and an associate member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
When I’m not working Under the Sycamore, I’m usually out hiking or running on the Downs, cooking something slow and nourishing in the kitchen, reading in my book nook, or off exploring somewhere new.
